$264.00
SKU: LT111
Our newest mount, optimized for the latest precision scope designs
The LT111 OBR (Optimized Battle Rifle) QD Scope Mount was designed specifically for the OBR, available in 34mm or 30mm rings. The height is set for 1.535" above the rail, for perfect alignment with weapon-mounted clip-on night vision devices. There is zero built-in cant to ensure perfect centerline alignment (the OBR rifle has 20 MOA built-in to the upper rail). The LT-111 will also accommodate the US Optics T-Pal with it's larger turret body. The generous 2.9" ring spacing accommodates large turret blocks with ease.

The LT111 comes complete with spare mounting screws with wrench, QD adjustment wrench, and Instructions.

Available in 34mm or 30mm ring configurations (see the pull-down menu to the right).

About VFZ™ Mounts:
VFZ™ is a new theory in the concept of clamping accessories to MIL-STD-1913 rails. Instead of using a horizontal cross-bolt, the VFZ™ uses a vertical bolt that draws up a clamping foot against the lower angle of the rail, seating the mount similarly to a fully-closed LaRue lever. Once installed on the firearm, index marks allow the user to remove the mount, then reattach to the same tension, providing unprecedented return to zero for a non-QD-levered mount. The unique vertical alignment of the clamp allows components that are structurally stronger than traditional cross-bolt designs.

Why should I select VFZ™ Mounts instead of a QD Lever Mount?:
If you intend to leave an optic or accessory on a rail for the life of the rifle, the VFZ™ option is for you. The VFZ™ is intended as a longer-term, semi-permanent mounting alternative to our well-known Speed Levers. While both mounts will allow the user to remove the mount from the weapon, reinstall it in the same position, and return to zero, the VFZ™ mount is intended for users that will not need to constantly remove and install their mounts (especially in the field).

I like to remove my scope whenever I am cleaning or working on my gun, both to protect it from damage, and to get it out of my way. I have a disease that causes me to constantly modify my rifle. I bought this mount after hearing that LaRue mounts always maintain their zero. Sure enough, there is guarantee right on the product page saying that it will maintain its zero no matter how many times it is removed, so I took the plunge and forked over $264 plus tax & shipping. I am not the slightest bit disappointed with this mount. It is rock solid. Took a little bit of adjusting to get the levers to the tension I desired, but after that this thing has been a dream. I have removed the scope no less than 5 times since I got it, and everytime I go back to the range it is right on the money. I have never had another mount maintain is zero like this after being removed. As others have said, I received a lot of free stuff. Came with a hat, bumper stickers, DVD, bottle opener, Dillo Dust seasoning, and several copies of the U.S. Constitution. Wonder what kind of freebies I would get if I bought a whole gun? Thanks LaRue.

I saw a knock off 3 weeks ago of this mount when I was at the local show. Two very young looking guys where selling them. I nearly laughed as soon as I picked their copy up. They assured me they had a lifetime warranty and that it was made in the US. Based on the weight of the mount I figured 2 or 3 shots from the .50 BMG and I'd have splinters of aluminum every where. I was looking to replace an Armalite 30MM that just sat a bit lower on the rail then I was happy with. I messaged customer service and got a quick response from Dave. It seemed the only answer he didn't have about this mount was which day it might be made on. He could tell me every thing else I wanted to know and more As a guy on a fixed income ( disabled vet) I had to think about the cost of the mount. It wasn't a question of if, just when. I ordered it about 10PM and had it about 10AM the next day. (Texas to Texas shipping.) Unlike the Armalite I had to work with and caress to get on the rail the LaRue clearly knew it belonged there. A little cautious tweaking of the throw levers and I had it where I thought I liked it. Didn't seem like I was getting the grab up front I expected. But I tried moving the scope and mount with just 1 lever locked down. Nothing moved OR acted like it was going to. When I showed several people just the mount they questioned if it would do the job I needed it for on the fifty. After mounting it I have no question at all about it. It feels good, looks good and does a good job. There maybe be cheaper but I don't feel there is better. I had looked at a Burris 30MM else where. There was NO information except a price on the site I was looking at. All they had to do was pick up the box and it should have been on it. I REALLY have an issue when I call to ask question and I have to leave another message or be transferred. Or simply put people sell it but have no damned clue about it. Simply put ? Well done Dillo Boys ! If I ever have another need I know where to start first.

I think the LT 111 is the better of Larue's scope mounts for AR-15 and AR-10 flat tops. The mount is over built tough, and obviously much more heavy duty than any others I've inspected. Compared to the ar10 mount, this one is twice as built. I didn't like the mounts with an exstended elevated ring as they look supseptable to damage. This mount allows room for the back up sites and still centers the scope in a solid mount directly over the flat top receiver. There are cheaper but not better options. Do it once and right.

I originally bought a LT112, of which has a built-in 20MOA drop, for a Trijicon Aimpoint atop a Sig556. The 20MOA drop proved to be to much for the 1" tube scope. Scope adjustment bottomed when sighting in. So I bought this LT111 with no cant to replace to replace the LT112. Worked out well as I was happy to install the LT112 on my FNAR w/30mm tube Super Sniper Scope. Both are taken off and on repeatedly and return to zero every time. Best mounts I ever purchased. Thanks

I got an LT111 for my DPMS SASS. After some modification to fit the out of spec DPMS upper the mount works great! The only advice I have is that if you have a DPMS rifle you might try a LT104 or LT745 as they fit the upper without modification. Not LT's fault by any means...the mount works as advertised. I purchased this mount for a VR-X Patrol optic for a .308 AR to test out the return to zero between a HDMR with the LT-104. Took it to the range to sight it in at 100 yards, and swapped scopes after 20 rounds. I was extremely surprised at the return to zero between the two scopes, and mounts. I shot 80 rounds changing scopes out every 20, and received the same accuracy between swaps. I highly recommend the mount without any doubts.

If you're looking to save money, and buy good equipment both.. Buy one of these mounts. And then buy that 2-3000 $ scope you've always wanted, with two quick flips of the levers, you can dismount, and remount on any rifle you have with a pic-rail. It only makes good sense to be as familiar as possible with one quality scope, vs. 4 or 5 sub-par cheap ones. When you look at the products, and their repeatability in that way, they suddenly become a whole lot cheaper. Very well thought out mount, and is standard height for all accessories that would accompany them. Thanks LaRue.

The LT111 is a rock solid mount and worth every penny. No smithing required. Slap that bad boy on, "drop" in the scope, crank it down and go. It's a no brainer. Keep up the good work guys and thanks for the extras. I'll be back for more!!

I've used this mount on a M110 and M107. I've had no issues with this mount even while using it in a dry and sandy environment. Also it has had no issues handling the recoil of the Barrett. The eye relief is fine for an AR10 platform, all though he 104 mount may be better for those who shoot nose to charging handle or if being used on an AR15 but I prefer not to shoot that way so it works well for me on the 110. I bought one for my predatobr 762 because of how it has performed on my duty weapons. I have not yet shot it on my weapon but I expect that it will perform just as well! Overall this is a great product that will out last you and your rifle. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a great mount!

I had just purchased a US Optics LR-17MIL and wanted the ultimate mount for this large investment. I asked USO for their recommendation and they highly recommend the LaRue LT111. I had heard of LaRue tactical, but had never purchased anything from them. I checked out the 111 and there was no doubt this was the right choice. Once I received the mount an viewed it in person it was even more impressive. With fast shipping and quality products they definitely have a new customer.

I bought the LT111 for use with a Leupold MR/T 2.5-8x36 on a flat top AR15. I wanted something better quality than the MK12 rings but with a similar look. I was worried about a few things with this mount, eye relief with my A1 stock and the ring height. Both of these worries turned out not to be an issue. The eye relief is perfect for me. The height is not a smash your cheek into the stock cheek-weld but is still good. I believe that since most optics commonly used on AR15s are about the same height as this one most people will be used to the height and like it. When mounting the scope, this mount really shines. I loved the horizontally split rings. The scope couldn't help but be mounted perfectly and this mount was just so right. The pain free mounting, good looks, light weight, quick disconnect and return to zero are why I choose LaRue.

I just want to mention right away that the only reason I give this product 4 out of 5 stars is I don't understand the additional price for this product over the canted versions? Maybe someone can help me with that answer? That being said, these mounts are the BEST mounts you will ever buy anywhere near this price point. I have purchased 5 of them now. I am also an FFL and have the option to purchase most anything at cost and I prefer the LaRue mounts at full retail. But hay LaRue, if you want to sell them to me cheaper I won't argue with you :) I have a photo I wish I could upload because there are so many things that impressed me sighting in my latest LaRue mount with a Leupold VX6 4-24x52mm scope on an Armalite AR10 with an 18" barrel and Hornady 150gr. American Whitetail hunting ammo. Sighted in at 200 yards. Came back to 100 yards and loaded 4 rounds in the mag. Two shot group touching either ( I was quite pleased with myself but was convinced it was a fluke), than I removed the mount and scope, hit the scope and mount with my palm as hard as i could without injuring my hand and than remounted it on the AR10. First shot after remounting the base and scope hit the same hole as the original 2-shot group! I admittedly was shocked and super stoked. So I shot the 4th and last shot of my experiment and it was 3/4" up and left of the 3-shot group! To sum it up, after removing and abusing the base and scope the WORST shot I managed at 100 yards was 3/4" with a barely broken in semi-auto AR style rifle and box hunting ammo. Who is going to tell me I NEED to reload and use a bolt action rifle??? Keep up the quality guys because I can guarantee at this point if you miss the target within a 1000 yards it's NOT the equipment! Practice, practice... Thanks LaRue!

I wouldn't recommend going cheap on anything but if I had to choose between cutting costs on glass or mounts I'd pick glass. There are quite a few decent (not great) budget scopes for $2-400 that will do most of what anyone wants on the range. If you go cheap on a mount your expensive piece of glass won't hold zero and you will lose your mind. I have plenty of rifles with $200 scopes and $300 dollar LaRue mounts because LaRue works. Every. Damn. Time.

Then buy another for every gun till we have a bunch of scopes on a bunch of guns. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Buy a great scope and get a QD LT111 or similar model. The pair will cover most guns. There is no question with ZERO, only when you change guns with a MOA cant to flat rail. Even that is predictable. I run 3 different types of scopes with 3 LT111. I hung a Vortex Razor on my Daniel Defense M4A1 with the LT111. Super stout, simple design, yet light weight. Accurate machining means no lapping, it just clamped right on, perfect alignment, was almost dead on with scope reticle centered. I guess that's just a function of 3 quality pieces going together. Zero'd scope, removed it, zero'd flip up iron sights, set the Vortex back on the gun and it was dead on. Outstanding! You do often get what you pay for. I am a GA boy, so I have a soft spot for DD. This mount and the Larue Scout light setup with QD mount makes me wonder if I shouldn't try one of Larue's rifles. No doubt Larue is at the top of the mount game. I suspect their rifles are right there as well. Thanks for being everything you advertise and then some - a rare quality these days...

Brought this for my Vortex rzr HD2 (4.5-27) glass to mount to my precision rifle (20 MOA Deviant action on XLR carbon chassis) as I needed the clearance for the carbon fiber handguard (34mm vortex 'high' rings weren't high enough). The finish is a matte black finish and the build quality and design to be well made. I have yet to test it's hold on zero when removed and remounted but I feel if the correct technique is used (snugging it up while pushing the scope forward) there should not be any problems. I've put only 80 rounds through it so far (6.5 creed) and will post another review after a few hundred go through (probably in about a week).

I've learned that when I buy an optic mount from LaRue, that I've purchased a piece of equipment that will last me a lifetime. I have never had any issues with any of the half dozen or so optic mounts that I've purchased from LaRue over the past 10 years. I'm sure also that if I did, the folks there would take care of the problem. LaRue has grown so big since I bought my first optic mount from them that I was concerned about quality control. The mounts I've bought recently are built with the same integrity as the they were when I bought my first cantilever. It's rare that this level of quality is maintained with the sort of growth experienced at LaRue. When I purchase high end optics, I put LaRue mounts under them. They give me confidence that my optic will be safe and maintain the zero that I set. I can't ask more than that from an optic mount. Thank you LaRue.

I bought another expensive brand, but it would not even go over the picatinny rail of either rifle! I had already bought an LT745 to mount a US Optics LR17 on my custom Patriot Ordnance Factory .308 with a 20 inch barrel. I'm glad I called and got advice on which mount to order for the ER 25 Installation on the Ruger Precision. Install was a "breeze" Both rifles reach out and touch accurately, with the Optics secured by their respective LaRue mounts! I love the fact that I can take them off easily, remount to rail and not loose Zero: which means the systems will continue to reach out and touch the intended "point of touch"!

As with all of LaRue's riflescope mounts, this one is a superb piece of equipment. I have this mounted on a 300 WinMag rifle with a S&B scope. HEAVY optic. The rings hold it very well under heavy recoil, did not require lapping, and the removable mount returns to absolute zero with every removal and reattachment. I use this on a long range set-up. One WARNING: DO NOT MOUNT ON A RAIL THAT HAS A CHANNEL CUT DOWN THE CENTER!!. Use only on FULL rails. i.e. the cross bars of the rail go ALL the way across. I had this mount on a NightForce rail originally with a center channel cut, and it did not work out so well. The rail started to shear the lugs of the LT111. Also, I recommend a steel rail for this mount.

All I can say is this mount is less expensive then the Knights mount and the quality looks completly superior. and I am so happy I bought this mount. Knights lack of production actually helped me discover just how much better larue mounts are. Now, I will recommend larue and this mount to everyone I talk to. Oh, did I mention I am a FFL/SOT in Florida. Thank you Larue!

The LT111 mount is my first LaRue purchase. I have several mounts from other well-known, recognized manufacturers that do manufacture a quality product. Unfortunately for them, I will not be buying anymore of their mounts. The LaRue goes back to zero every time. I really did not believe a mount like this existed. I am a very satisfied customer.

If I were to tell anyone that there was a better mount.. I would be lying. This is by far the easiest and best built mount money can buy. Its very accurate as well since I only had to make minor adjustments to the scope for it to be zeroed. If you're "thinking" about it, theres no need to.

Perfect in every way! This is the best mounting system that I have owned. When first mounted on 1913 rail, the scope was less than 1 mil from zero. You can remove and replace and you are still zeroed! I don't think you could find this quality in any other mounting system.

Swapped mounting to my sons OBR 5.56 at 100 yards it was off 1" to the left and 1/2 low. installed back on my ODR it was back at zero. I'm sold on RaRue Tactical. It's good to trade with a Texas Company. They say what they mean and do what they say.

Purchased the LT111 34mm OBR Scope Mount for my Steiner TXi5 3-15X50 on a SCAR17S. Quality and machining are first rate, design is elegant and the mount is rock solid. The QD feature works perfectly and is reversible to avoid scraped knuckles when using the standard charging handle. Perfect height to ensure clearance for the BUIS and a 50mm objective lens. If you're using quality glass and need a rugged and reliable mount to ensure you get the most out of it, this product comes highly recommended as best in class. Customer service is outstanding and the "extras" in the box were a nice touch. Will gladly wear the hat with your logo. Thanks LaRue for a superior product. Will be upgrading my hunting rifle next!

I purchased the Larue OBR LT111 with 30mm rings to mount a Leupold MK4 4.5-14x50mm on a Scar17s. I've taken it to the range twice now and I love it! I fired a 3 round group at 100yds, unmounted the optic and remounted it on the same section of picitinny rail, and fired another 3 round group to ensure the mount had no shift in its zero after being taken off the rifle. Indeed, the mount held its zero perfectly!

This mount is typical LaRue quality. It is THE mount to have for a monolithic rail. I mounted a heavy Schmidt & Bender 3-20x50 PM II on my LMT MWS and it is rock solid and repeatable. There is also plenty of clearance for my folding KAC backup sights with the scope in place. While the mount is expensive, save yourself the headache and go with LaRue.

Solid and robust rings. You can see the high quality and workmanship that went into the product. It has tight tolence and this is throughout the product. It clamps on to the rail uniformly without any play or movement. The instructions tell you how to mate the rings with the use of quick detach clamp on the scope rail. I will install and use this in a Rem700 rifle, 300WM cal.

Here's a short story about my purchase. I bought this mount to replace the LT120 I had bought with my OBR. I removed the scope from the old mount and placed it into this mount then took it to the range to re-sight it in. At 100yds my first shot fell just over 1 inch below the bullseye. Now THAT is some damn fine precision machining right there!

This is my first Larue product and will not be my last. You will quickly agree that it is a quality product in your hands, and on the rifle. The QD feature is solid and exactly what I was looking for in a mount that could be removed easily without tools. I used this mount to attach a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 scope to my DPMS LRT SASS .308. The rifle comes with factory flip up/down backup iron sights, and with this mount the scope clears the rear mount nicely. I added Butler Creek flip open scope covers and the scope is as low as it can go with still enough clearance above the rear sight when it is in the folded down position. Great job Laure Tactical!

The LT111 is the perfect mount for my Daniel Defense DDM4V11. The LT111 works better for me when using my NightForce NXS 1-4 than the LT104 because of my eye relief. I purchased this mount to use on a GAP-10. I have a Horus Scope that I use and don't need to long eye relief of the SPR-E LT 139. I have always used LaRue mounts and will continue to do so. I take the scope of the rifle each time I shoot to store it in a scope bag. I have NEVER, EVER had a failure to return to zero. I truly appreciate the customer service and amazing products this company has. Although their products may seem expensive, they truly are not considering they work right the first time, they do what they advertise, and they hold up over time...just no B.S...you don't have to worry about this equipment at all.

I originally ordered an LT120-34 to mount a Steiner 3-12 x 50 to a SCAR17S but the scope was long enough to contact the factory front sight and the lens cover contacted the factory rear sight. After speaking with Dan, he recommended the LT111-34 so I sent in the LT120 for an exchange. The exchange was done the day I they received my return and Dan was spot on. The LT111 works perfectly with the 50 mm objective lens and I can now get the sunshade on. Great product, great service, and another happy customer!

After buying a LT 104 mount for my AR, I purchased two of the LT-111 mounts, primarily to switch between a Nightforce ATACR and Leupold Mark 6 3x18 on my .338 Lapua with a straight 30 MOA picitinny rail. The ATACR has a 56mm objective and had ample clearance from the rail. After more than 400 rounds and several changes of scopes, the scopes always went back dead on zero. Excellent product. I'm in the process of switching to the Larue LT mounts for all my scopes where practicle.
