LaRue Tactical SPR-E LT139

$232.00
SKU: LT139

The solution for riflescopes with extra long eye-relief
The LT139 rings are extended forward for use with riflescopes that require longer eye-relief. The LT139 places the centerline of the optic 1.5" above the top of the rail for optimum cheek weld with a variety of AR-platform rifles. The extended cantilever positions the scope far out front over the handguard, eliminating the need to span from the receiver to the handguard.

The popularity of the SPR series of mounts is partially due to the innovative backbone that connects the split vertical rings. This design provides a more robust platform for the optics, increases repeatability, and eliminates the need for time-consuming lapping. The rings are precision-machined with the tightest tolerances, and feature threaded steel inserts, built to withstand a lifetime of abuse.

Like all LaRue mounts, it is precision-machined out of bar-stock aluminum and matt black anodized to provide a durable non-reflective surface finish. The locking LaRue Speed Levers provide outstanding return to zero; the optic can be removed, and replaced, without loss of zero. Guaranteed.

Assembly and adjustment only takes a few minutes, then off to the range.

Available with LaRue QD Speed Levers or VFZ mounts (see pull-down to the right)

About VFZ Mounts:
VFZ is a new theory in the concept of clamping accessories to MIL-STD-1913 rails. Instead of using a horizontal cross-bolt, the VFZ uses a vertical bolt that draws up a clamping foot against the lower angle of the rail, seating the mount similarly to a fully-closed LaRue lever.

Once installed on the firearm, index marks allow the user to remove the mount, then reattach to the same tension, providing unprecedented return to zero for a non-QD-levered mount. The unique vertical alignment of the clamp allows components that are structurally stronger than traditional cross-bolt designs.

Ring Sizes Available:
Available with: 35mm, 34mm, 30mm or 1" rings (see pull-down menu to the right).

Note on BUIS systems:
Some BUIS will not fit under your scope in this mount. If you have ANY questions on your application, please call us. We are well versed in fitment. Do not automatically order the taller mount before consulting with us. Thanks!

About VFZ™ Mounts:
VFZ™ is a new theory in the concept of clamping accessories to MIL-STD-1913 rails. Instead of using a horizontal cross-bolt, the VFZ™ uses a vertical bolt that draws up a clamping foot against the lower angle of the rail, seating the mount similarly to a fully-closed LaRue lever. Why should I select VFZ™ Mounts instead of a QD Lever Mount?:
If you intend to leave an optic or accessory on a rail for the life of the rifle, the VFZ™ option is for you. The VFZ™ is intended as a longer-term, semi-permanent mounting alternative to our well-known Speed Levers. While both mounts will allow the user to remove the mount from the weapon, reinstall it in the same position, and return to zero, the VFZ™ mount is intended for users that will not need to constantly remove and install their mounts (especially in the field).

For shooters who have longer scopes (and definitely those with longer eye relief), who like to shoot Nose-To-Charging-Handle for a consistent cheek/stock weld, I cannot recommend this mount enough. Using a 13" long Nikon in the factory mounts, I couldn't get NTCH to achieive a consistent cheek weld. With the SPR-E, when I set my head down on the stock, pushed forward to NTCH, and opened my eyes, it felt as if the mount had been custom-made for the scope and for my shooting style. Now my groups at 100m are even tighter than before, but can only get better. If you go with the SPR-E and decide it's too far forward for you, remember: you can always move it back on rail, or send it back to LT, and they will take care of you, guaranteed!

I use this mount on a competition AR and it works great. It's been on & off several times without losing zero. I will definitely be buying another for my backup rifle. I'm a big guy with long arms, I shoot nose to the C.H. and it makes it possible for me to get the perfect eye relief with any optic. Definitely a Top Shelf product!

This is the best mount for my needs. I have an AR that I built that has Troy BUIS on it and I wanted my NIKON M-223 2-8x rifle scope to fit, while mounted entirely to the upper receiver, where the irons would co-witness with it. This mounts works perfect for that and I suppose it would be perfect for any scope with a longer eye-relief. I am a nose-to-charging-handle type shooter if that helps anyone. It has been off and back on my rifle multiple times and always holds very close to zero. It does seem like a crap-ton of money at first but if you have others to compare it to you will realize really quick that it is worth it. They have awesome quick shipping and great customer service too!

Been using this mount on my LMT carbine w/ Trijicon TR21R now for about 3 years. Have taken it to several classes and easily put 2-3000 rds on this set-up. I have taken this off several times for cleaning and not once have I ever re-adjusted my scope since initially sighting it in. Never had a CS issue w/ this mount so I cannot comment on that but feedback on M4carbine.net is why I decided on LaRue to begin with. Highly recommend to anyone, and I have purchased a set of fixed sights which are top notch as well.

I mounted a Leupold Mark 6 in the rings. I mounted the scope and mount to a JP Enterprise Upper. I then took it to the range and bore sighted the scope. I guess paying quality money for quality products is good. I was 3 clicks left of center and 2 clicks high. I shot it after bore sighting and it was right on. The fit and finish of this mount is awesome. I did not have to adjust the lever, they went right on and are plenty tight enough. The scope mounted to the mount flawlessly and the same to the upper. I have not removed the mount as yet to clean the gun and check for zero, but with Larue's reputation I have no doubt it will hold zero. Awesome Job Larue. Captian Brock Dept. Armorer & Smith

I shoot 3 gun and own 3 Larue mounts. I run a Swarovski, a Schmidt and Bender and a Leopold in the mounts. They are used on a 223 and 308 rifle depending on the match. The mounts are high quality and top notch. I have never had any problems with the mounts, have not lost my zero or Larue as a company. I would recommend the mounts for use in the shooting sport. I like the forward mounting of the mount for the eye relief for my rifles.

I wanted to mount a scope on an AK. I installed a Samson rear sight rail, which is VERY sturdy and secure, but still needed a scope mount that would give me the proper eye relief. This mount was exactly what I needed. Although it's a bit pricey, it looks to be very well made. I had to use a Dremmel tool to grind some material off of the two lugs on the underside of the mount that engage the slots in the rail to keep it from moving, but that was not a big deal. So far, it seems to be the perfect setup. I would recommend this company to others.

I got this mount after I exchanged the spr-e, which I had initially ordered by mistake. I had an interesting experience with customer service when trying to do the exchange. After I sent the spr-e back for an exchange, I called Larue to follow up with them and check the status. The rep told me that since the recoil lugs on the mount looked used, they would not accept it back, and wouldn't do the exchange. After telling the rep what a bunch of bull I thought that was, I immediately got on Larue's product review and cried and complained and bashed them pretty good on the review. Well, I guess Mark caught wind of it and let me tell you what happened next. By the end of business that very same day, I had an email with a tracking number for my shipment, which just so happened to be the spr-104, the mount I wanted. Not only that, but my new mount was being OVERNIGHTED BY AIR! I had my mount in my hands the very next morning! Along with a Larue hat, which had been signed by Mr. Larue himself along with a silly catchphrase. You could still smell the sharpie on the hat. Needless to say, I was overjoyed at having my mount, and completely amazed and humbled at the lengths they went to to make me happy. It's true what they say about Mark, he is a stand up guy and will bend over backwards for his customers. It's a good thing too because I really didn't want to have to shop elsewhere for inferior products. It's good to be back. Customer for life. And oh yeah, after taking the mount out for a test run last week, the mount was perfect of course. Give 'em the pickle!

You get ease of installation with no lapping required and consistent return to zero when mounting and dismounting. Not much more you can ask for out of a mount and Larue mounts do it perfectly.

The standard LT-104 placed a Burris Veracity 5-25 too far back to either shoot NTCH or retract the charging handle the standard finger-on-each-side way. This works perfectly for that. Typical high quality Larue product. First shooting session at range went well as expected.

Simply put these mounts are amazing. This is the one to get if you like shooting nose to charging handle! My first was a 30mm for a Trijicon Accupoint. Second was a 1in for a Nikon M223. I swapped the two back and forth on the same rifle for a while with 100% zero repeatability. I eventually moved the Trijicon to a dedicated 3gun rifle and just purchased another 30mm for a Vortex Viper. As if the great product isn't enough, the free swag thrown in the box always makes me smile. I swear I find myself ordering from LaRue just to get their Dillo Dust!

100% zero retention. I use this mount a lot as I shoot with the stock closed in on longer collapsible stocks or 1 position out with standard M4 length stocks and require more eye relief. Hands down one of the best things you can bolt to your firearm. I use the same rifle with 2 optics (a EoTech XPS on a LaRue mount as well as a Bushnell 1-6.5 in this mount) for everything from teaching a class to 3 gun. These mounts increase the flexibility of one weapon. Thanks LaRue for supporting the military and hope to see you guys at the USASOC sniper comp again this year.

This is my third Larue mount and I am once again pleased. Yes it's expensive, but hey it only costs a little more to go first class. Keep it up Larue.

Very solid and beautifully designed mount. It was just what I needed to get a rather long Nikon M223 3-12X BDC scope forward enough to allow shooting with nose to charging handle in prone. A bit pricey but quality tends to be that way. This is a mount you only have to buy once. LaRue customer service is top notch and I highly recommend their products as I have been very happy with everything I have bought from them.
