Product is great. The only modification I will have to make is to shorten the rail base. Out of the box length was too long for my Rem 700 ultra mag. Im mounting a vortex viper scope with 50mm obj. When i pull scope back where it is comfortable for me it touches base rail.

I bought 3 f these for my 1st builds and they are fantastic. Nothing better for a Remington out there. All have blueprinted actions and 5R Bartleins- and with these and Vortex they should 1 hole at 100m. What more could one ask for? They are simply the best way to go. Period. Why risk it with anything else when the winning combination is right here? They are and will be on every build from here on out. JD

Again I did not even have to think much into this kit that I mounted onto my REM. .308 SPS Tactical rifle and how it would work on my REM. 22-205. Again I was not let down in any way, now I'm forced into buying a better scope for the 22-250 to reach out further and most of all the target to about 700 yards max. B ( Colorado )

Outstanding and excellent combo kit that I mounted onto my Rem. .308 Model 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD and mounted my Nikon Monarch 5.5-16.5.5x44AO HT scope that I used in the Navy. The real factor was when I removed the scope off my rifle then remounted back on a 100% cold rifle the with the very next round at 100 yards, that round hit just about right on top of the last round. It has been a very long time where I have a product that works right and most of all as stated in your add. Even the cheek pad puts me at about the right eye alignment for me on the same rifle puts my eye alignment very close to where I want to be with out adding any shims. But the only thing I found a little disappointing was that there is no slit or narrow opening to accommodate for the sling stud mount that only took me about a min to correct with a hole punch and heating the punch to seal the edges of the hole. I can not understand with all the staff meetings no one brought this up to fix such a small issue for how much pride the company has for what has been made most of all. But from the stat, I would have wanted to carry this item when I was on active duty in the Navy and place my life on it as I did with only a weapons I used.... great job.

Still this is something that should be fixed from the start since it's very easy to do but over looked. This kit is worth the money and it keeps a zero setting when the scope is removed then installed when I tested it with my sight mark laser round at 25 yards then out to about 100 yards and the scope did keep each adjusted setting as I'm sure it will do when I go hot at the range.

Having ordered from LaRue previously, I expected the best from this order. I was not disappointed. The mounting of the rail and the QD rings and adding my scope on my new rifle was a breeze. No complications, and as usual the quality was superb. My experience with LaRue products and workmanship makes them my first choice for increased usability and quality on my rifle. There is no downside to buying the best.
