I bought two, one for me and one for my son. His momma took mine away so I bought five more for my family and closest friends. My twenty year old son and his friends have put it through hell and it's still hanging in there. That says a lot because those boys could tear up a steel ball with a rubber hammer. I carry mine every day here in the middle east and use it on everything without a second thought. Still sharp and haven't sharpened it yet. Been six months now. I've bought a lot from LaRue and will continue to do so because if they sell it, it's worth the price for the quality. You'll be able to pass their stuff down for generations.

This was both my first neck knife, and my first knife from Spartan knives. Loved both at once, but after about a year the knife started to slip out of the sheath when worn from the neck. They advised me to send it to the guys who make the sheaths. Can't remember the guy's or the company's name now who make the sheaths that are used, but I sent mine in and he tuned it up. Great Customer service from them, wish I could shout them out here. Sadly, though, after another year and a half of every day use, mine fell out again a few weeks ago the day before a snow storm on some property I was working in Colorado. When you are outdoors when the metal of the knife hits dirt or grass for a soft landing, there is no sound to alert you it has come loose. I looked on Knife Artistry and they were all sold out of these. Then a couple of other places I normally go to were sold out too! So I found this website who had some, and figured I better get a couple, just in case. Get this, a few days after I place my order, I get an email telling me they are back ordered for two weeks! Hah! Looks like the word is out on this knife being a good one. They can't keep em' in stock! Just an FYI, like in my case, a lot of use can cause them to eventually fall out of the sheath on their own, Be sure to reset them with a solid, forceful action if you wear them with the blade handle pointed down to the ground if wearing it from your neck like I do. Overall, a really great knife, for most anything, can also be used as a thrower with predictable results with a little practice from 5-7 feet.

Simply a great knife!

I just received this knife last week. Its a perfect size. Not a fan of the ball chain, but the 550 cord is good. I'm a big fan of S30V and S35V - so that's a huge plus. Out of the box the knife was razor sharp - I could drag it through a sheet of paper and easily make "S" shapes. I didn't check to see what kind of edge was ground from the factory so I'm not sure how much work will be involved in resharpening Overall workmanship appears excellent and the sheath is very functional. It's also light weight which is a plus. My ZT301 is a great knife, but for an EDC it is a bit bulky and heavy at almost 8 OZ Gotta look into more knives from Spartan

It is tough to make a knife that is small enough to wear around your neck all day that is also still comfortable in the hand. The Enyo is a really great compromise. I've been wearing it as a neck knife for a while now, and find I pretty much forget it is there. Meanwhile, as I've been messing around with how to grip it and train with it I find the ergonomics remarkably adaptable to different holds. It is also extremely sharp out of the box, holds its edge through a surprising amount of use, and sharpens back up quickly after use. I can't recommend it highly enough for what it is.

Excellent knife. Got one for my wife, and she wears it iwb. Says it is very comfortable and she forgets it is there. Very strong. Comfortable on mercharness also.

This is a fine knife. I have neck carried this knife for over a year all day every day. Everyday use in my place of business and field dressing several deer has not dulled the edge yet. I am still using the factory edge. The neck chain shows no signs of corrosion or wear in spite of continual use. The sheath still holds the blade securely and at the same time it's release is smooth and easy. One nick in the finish near the tip occurred while prying metal. The fit in my large hand is secure and nimble. I highly recommend this tool. My wife made a very good choice.

Some time ago I realized that all the men I admired most in my life always had a few things in their pocket: A comb, a wallet, mints, a handkerchief, cash and a pocket knife.
