Liking my SUURG upper. I am waiting for the approval to get the suppressor to put on it. The concept is great. A suppressed upper that isn't an SBR but that also doesn't add length of the can to a 16" barrel. It's a compact package that does it all. I can't yet comment on the suppressor or how it runs with a can, so I'm assuming 5 armadillos unless something changes my mind :)

I wanted this upper a while back and when I looked to order I saw that they were discontinued. I was bummed that I didn't decide to purchase sooner. Then, out of the blue, I received an email stating that there would be one last limited run. I fucking jumped on it. I put it together with the rest of the LaRue lower build shits and ran it for 600 rounds the next day. It was fucking sweet and flawless. RMR 1.0 MOA dot on it and out to 50yds. 0.5in grouping just from table support. I have not run the can on it bc it's still in jail for another 9mos. The brake thumps your shooting mates, so definitely warn them. I could not be more pleased. Another fantastic tool. Thank you LaRue Team.

This SUURG on top of a complete Larue Lower - my third Larue Rifle in .300 BLK. Like my other two, both PredatOBR - .260 & 5.56 with 22” & 16” BBL’s, respectively are one and all sub inch shooters with good ammo. Great guns worth the wait (12, 20, & 8 months) and the new prices.

First Larue rifle is this suurg kit mated to a Larue lower. Fit and finish is top notch. Just order it and forget about it, its gonna be a while but youll end up with a rifle that is in its own class.

This is the best rifle I have ever purchased. I used it in a LEO class and hands down it blew me and everyone else away. The quality is unparalleled. Please bring a run of them back Mark. I have a hog problem and would love to get another one in 300BLK.

Let me start by saying that the product appears to be as good as I had hoped. The most beautiful AR set up I have purchased. I purchased a suurg 2.0 in November 2020. The estimated wait time was 4 to 6 months. I started monthly inquiries at about the six month mark and was told each time that it would be another 2 to 4 months. No one would give me any indication of where was in the queue or how many were being shipped monthly. One gentleman even said that I “claimed” a delivery time not promised. I received the upper, without the suppressor, at the end of 2021. The suppressor arrived at my FFL in March 2022. I am beyond excited to finally have this extremely high-quality suppressed AR (still awaiting ATF approval for the suppressor). The only recommendation I would make to Mark is for his customer service to be more forthcoming in their communications with customers.

The only complaint is the wait time. Other than that this. Upper is legit everybody should shoot suppressed. I took this to the range and everybody was what is that. If you want to own a bad ass one of a kind suppressed upper order it and just wait for it. “It is worth the weight” I have a matching larue predatOBR in 556 as well. This gun is amazing they should ad this to there line up with a complete build rifles. Larue makes the best shit. I have own costa rile, predator and a predatOBR in .260 these rifles are deadly accurate.

I am the colleague of the German Army reservist (see earlier review) who let me shoot his wife's SUURG in 6.5 Grendel. I saved up my lunch money and purchased the SUURG in 300 BLK. The demand was so high for these excellent pieces that mine took many months to arrive. It was well worth the wait. It is beautiful American craftsmanship and absolutely rock solid.

i live in canada so i can't own any cool stuff like you Americans. i used to have a firearms license but i lost it because i beat up an old high school bull i ran into at a restaurant several years after high school. he ended up with 17 stitches, i got away but he ratted me out to the cops. i beat the assault charge in court but they still refused to give me back my firearms license. any who i really love guns and military stuff. i read abut them and how they function. i came up on this item larue is making, and to me it seems from the videos I've watched that's its just another innovation that serves no purpose. a Surefire suppressor or KAC suppressor do the same thing and sound exactly the same, plus they have the ability to be dismounted from the host weapon if one needs some space. I think the US military doesn't know what they're doing when it comes to weapons procurement. they order the M27 IAR in 5.56 and all these new carbines in 5.56 and they plan on switching calibers. General Dynamics-OTS Inc., AAI Corporation Textron Systems and Sig Sauer Inc. are all developing new weapons in new calibers for the military. Same goes for the 7.62 NATO round, the military ordered all those H&k G28 rifles, and now they're rebarelling to 6.5 creed moor. They get the mp7 for certain branches like the seals but they order the inferior 9mm B&T APC9 Pro for the army personal security detachments and airforce security detachments. Make up your minds. another idiot move was adopting the Remington MSR as the Mk 21 and then a year later shelving the weapons system for non compliance and going with the Barret MRAD system. i don't understand how it was such an amazing platform for x count of time and then saying its no good, we take Barret instead. Did the wrong palms get greased? Looks wise i think the MSR looks better than the Barret and its configurable in several different calibers just like the Barret.
