Perfect tool for trigger training and also trigger install practice.

I remembered seeing these in a couple ultimate upper kits I've gone through and decided to buy several to set up demo triggers to give people hands on feel for some more popular trigger kits. This lets them try stuff without having to buy all of them themselves or for me to set up several full rifles with them. Nothing too fancy about it. Great tool for informing people newer to triggers, or experienced but curious about other things. In typical LaRue fashion, it is much better price point than other plastic trigger demo frames that I could find. My one complaint is that the hammer impact can send a pulse through the assembly which resembles trigger slap, which can give people a false bad impression of the trigger being used. An easy fix is to put something softer there, (Tape, velcro, rubber pad, etc.) A nicer version with more ruggedized wear areas (helicoil on grip thread, maybe some metal rigidizers and pin hole collars or fully milled design) and a rubber buffer pad for the hammer would certainly be something to think about.

Handy tool for trigger training , BUT one would think Larue would at least engineer this to be used with the A-Peg grip . I had high hopes of these two being utilized in my tools but when I tried to mount the A-Peg it would not work together . Works well with other grips though

I was going to use it as a training aid. I thought the full assembled parts were plastic. That is not the case, if you want the trigger, hammer, pistol grip and selector. You will need to purchase them separately. Hopefully, you have those parts lying around. I did not, so it's an additional $50 at least to purchase those parts So buyer beware, and I would recommend that the company put those details on all the pictures to avoid confusion. Once I get it put together, it should be a nice training tool.

Neat product, will let other reviews talk about the pros. I agree with an them. I will talk about engineering hiccups and cons. First, the backstrap doesn't follow AR profile. The radius is too tight. Meaning you cannot use grips with a curved backstrap tang, they will hit. MIAD worked when I swapped for the flat/cut backstrap. Second, the screw hole for the grip is threaded plastic. Care just be taken to not strip this out. I might suggest Larue add a "plus" model with a helicoil or press-fit brass threadbolt inserted to make it bulletproof. Third, and this mainly applies to matched MBT-2S, but the sear engagement surface on THAT is not where the window is cut. On a normal milspec trigger, yes, the window shows the primary sear. But on MBT-2S that is just a drop safety catch that doesn't touch. On MBT-2S, the business happens near the disconnector area, so the window should have been over there too. (Well, every trigger is different, so doesn't make sense to have windows everywhere. But this is a Larue TAC chassis so at least thought their own trigger would have their own window.) Functionally the product is excellent and does exactly what it sets out to do. Buy two, and that way you can compare triggers side by side. And buy some Larue grips to go with it!

Fits a variety of different trigger packs and has room to make any fine tuning easy and simple. You can clearly see the hammer to trigger lock and release.

Very handy fixture. I am able to see the sear engagement and and creep that may be there while setting up triggers and this makes doing the adjustment much easier. GREAT PRODUCT.

Simple but effective.

Good trigger tester! I filled the area in the front with hot glue and put a piece of closed cell foam where the trigger hits. It made it a lot quieter and easier to use

As a builder for Marksmen for Vets program, this fixture is nice to ensure all parts that are donated will function properly. Nice, inexpensive tool.
