LaRue Tactical LT-10
The LT10 is based on our MRGG-S (Mid-Range Gas Gun – Sniper) design, submitted for use by SOCOM. “Equip yourself with the same quality hardware our elite warriors are fielding."
General Overview
Each rifle is equipped with a fully adjustable gas system. It utilizes a Quick-Disconnect handguard featuring M-LOK® on all sides. The 16” rifle comes with a 12.4” handguard while the 20” rifle comes with a 15.5” handguard. The rifle sports ambidextrous controls including magazine release, safety selector, bolt release, and charging handle. Each gun ships with two LaRue Tactical battle-proven 20-round magazines and a preset torque wrench to remove and reinstall the barrel. Our 6.5 Creedmoor barrels feature our custom spiral fluting in all length options.
Disassembly & Reassembly
The LT10 is the ultimate long-distance rifle. A remarkable feature of this rifle is its ability to be completely “broken down” and stored in a smaller package. The rifle handguard has a locking stainless steel QD Lever system on each side. Once the levers are released, the M-LOK® handguard slides off the upper assembly in seconds. The barrel can easily be removed with the supplied Barrel Torque Wrench. Unscrew the Barrel Nut from the Receiver, and pull the Barrel Assembly free from the Receiver. There is no need to remove the gas tube, gas block, or muzzle device. Reverse the process to reinstall. Hand-tighten the Barrel Nut and torque with the provided pre-set torque wrench. Once reassembled correctly, the point of impact (POI) shift will be 0.0 to 0.5 MOA of the original.
Handguard & Barrel System Overview
Barrels are chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 1/7.5 twist rate, and 7.62 x 51 NATO with 1/8 twist rate. All barrels are threaded in 5/8 x 24 and include our smooth LaRue TranQuilo Brake (non-suppressor mount) pre-installed. Like the OBR, PredatAR, and PredatOBR rifles, LaRue has eliminated the conventional AR barrel nut and attached the handguard directly to the upper receiver, creating an actual “free-float” barrel. The upper receiver includes an improved barrel support device that provides increased accuracy, highlighted during military trials. The handguard does not touch the barrel or barrel nut at any place. The zero-MOA upper rail provides plenty of room for weapon-mounted night-vision day/night combinations. Both the upper and lower are CNC-machined from billet aluminum for optimum fit and consistency.
Gas System Overview
This rifle’s adjustable gas block allows the shooter to control the amount of gas that is used to cycle the action. This can be useful for optimizing the rifle’s performance with different types of ammunition, reducing recoil, and minimizing wear and tear on the internal components of the rifle. Adjusting the gas block can also help in fine-tuning the rifle’s behavior for different shooting conditions, such as when using a suppressor or shooting in adverse weather.

About LaRue Firearm Accuracy:
LaRue's rifles are renowned for their precision worldwide. Each of these rifles are tested for accuracy by our owner, Mark LaRue using high-quality ammunition. None of these rifles are allowed to leave the facility unless they achieve an accuracy of less than 1 MOA (1.047”). Every one of these firearms is shipped with a copy of the 3-round group obtained from that specific firearm. While we assure that the rifle is capable of sub-MOA accuracy, we cannot guarantee the end-user will achieve the same level of accuracy, as it depends on shooting proficiency, familiarity with the system, ammunition choice, and environmental conditions. LaRue firearms are precision instruments that require discipline, training, proper ammunition, and maintenance for optimal performance.
