This is a high quality work belt/field belt. It is much bigger than I expected but not in a bad way, actually I was impressed just by looking it over before trying it on. My exact initial thought was, "wow, there is a lot of goody in this belt for just $16 bucks." It's pretty much a load-bearing belt and fits the bill well. Some may wear it for church or to a wedding, or somewhere else fancy but I wouldn't unless I absolutely had to... Technically, it will still hold your trousers up in these locations but it truly belongs in the field or while working outside. It is truly rugged and tough enough for the roughest activities/adventures. That is where this belt is best and if you are interested in the advantages of a quality piece of gear that meets the needs it is created for then I say you should buy it with confidence. It also makes for a relatively inexpensive gift that isn't flimsy or will find it's way into the trash anytime soon... American's built it in America, remember that. It will hold holster weight without losing it's place around your waist and you'll never 'realize one day' that you need to poke a different hole because you've lost/gained weight as it is "infinitely" adjustable. Plus I don't think one can go wrong with an SOB and LaRue approved piece of gear when one has knowledge.
