This was an excellent upper that needed very little fitting. The pins are a snug fit as described, which attributes to the solid fitment to the lower. The barrel seated very well and the shoulder mated excellent to the upper. The only thing that did require fitment was the barrel lands to the upper, which was easy enough to do. I would definitely use another Larue upper on a future build.

Took 10 months after I ordered to arrive but considering the high demand it was worth the wait! Got for another build. Great fit and finish as usual!

What can I say? It’s LaRue, just mentioning the name stops people in their tracks because they know it’s quality and quality is what counts when it comes to firearms. I had purchased a lower and upper and waited a long, long, long but with tactical patience long time for this upper. Without a doubt it’s flawless and fitment to lower is how it should be, snug but not tight to where you feel like your trying to pry an oyster open with your fingers. Anywhere you look from their handguards, mounts, recievers, stocks it doesn’t matter, it’s all quality product and it’s proven. A big thank you very much to all the folks at LaRue.

Fit to the LaRue lower was very snug. Not so tight that it couldn't be taken off the lower with a lot of force.
The finish match to the lower was perfect

Perfect fit. No movement what so ever on a $30 Anderson lower I picked up because, $30. Lol the first one I received didn’t fit any of the rifles from Ruger to a LaRue PredatAR but this second one is spot on. With that high of tolerances a couple atoms plus or minus can make it fit or not fit.

Just got it yesterday so not able to build on it yet. Gave it to my Boston Terrier as a chew toy and she didn't even scratch the finish. Great LaRue quality.
