Awesome mags-way better than PMAG's. After arrival, I went back and bought more the next day.

Accidentally drove over one, all day, with my F250. Didn't even scratch It and it still worked perfectly. Also, if you happen to use any type of magwell, especially Lancer's, Magpul doesn't always fit or fit well. The Lancer mags lock in easily and tightly. I'm not surprised that LaRue is a fan. They are simple, well made and robust. Marty

The best out there IMHO. Reasons why (for me) are: 1. The polymer used for the body is virtually indestructible. I've dropped other popular brands in cold weather that cracked, split and chipped in cold weather. Never had that happen with Lancer mags. 2. The hardened spring steel lips withstand drops much better than polymer lips. Especially in cold weather. 3. I believe the PTFE coating on the lips loads easier, and stops rust,snow, ice from forming/adhering. I also believe they last longer than polymer lips. I'm from cold-ass northern lower Michigan, and have never had a failure of any Lancer mags in any type of crap weather. I've had quite few with other magazines for various reasons. At present I have a total of 50 AR15 magazines after being given 100 various maker models when a friend passed away. All the ones left are Lancers. The rest were of various makers that I eventually discarded for one reason or another. My preference goes to the 20-round smoked translucent model, only because the 20-rounder height doesn't interfere with bi-pod and benchrest usage as much as the 30-rounder. I firmly believe the Lancers I still have will serve my great-grandson as well as they've served me.

I have used every mag out there. These are the best! The metal feed lips are way better than polymer. The texturing is great and the base plate is flush. I have a couple in UDE and they match my Larue UDE furniture very well. I currently own 50-60 mags seriously every type out there. Again, these are the best.
